Senior cornerback Karl Booker and junior quarterback Andre? Woodson have been chosen as game captains for the Wildcats home opener vs. Texas State on Saturday.

Game captains are chosen based on their performance in the previous week?s game. Booker (Chesapeake, W. Va.) made six tackles and added a pass breakup last Sunday at Louisville. Woodson (Radcliff, Ky.) threw for 231 yards and a career-high three touchdowns against the Cardinals. It is the first game-captain honor for each player.

Booker and Woodson will join permanent captains Keenan Burton and Lamar Mills for the pregame coin toss.
