Three Kentucky home volleyball matches will be broadcast on live television this season. The Sept. 17 match against LSU will be shown on SEC-TV, while the Oct. 8 match against South Carolina and the Oct. 29 match with Mississippi State will both be broadcast locally by CW Lexington, which can be seen on Insight Cable channel 5.
?We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to bring Kentucky Volleyball to our fans around the state,? said second year head coach Craig Skinner. ?This is great exposure for our program and we are thrilled to be able to give Kentuckians a chance to see first-class competition among the teams in the Southeastern Conference.?
The Wildcats opened the season with a 3-0 win over Western Kentucky on Tuesday night in Memorial Coliseum. Kentucky is in its second season under Skinner, whose Wildcats travel to Syracuse, N.Y., this weekend for the Big Orange Tournament. UK?s next contest will be on Friday, Sept. 1, when they face host-team Syracuse at 3 p.m.
