Following Monday afternoon?s practice, Rich Brooks acknowledged that his quarterbacks are not making it easy to select a starter ? and, he?s glad of it.

?They?re making it difficult,? Brooks said of the QB contenders, junior returning starter Andre? Woodson and sophomore challenger Curtis Pulley. ?They both played well in Saturday?s scrimmage. We have another scrimmage Saturday. We?re evaluating them in practice every day, but there?s nothing like the heat (of a scrimmage situation). It?s a good problem.?

Brooks also reaffirmed that, after evaluating the scrimmage film, some players might get a look at other positions. The coach noted one example, cornerback David Jones, who worked out at wide receiver on Monday. Brooks said the move came at Jones? request.

Kentucky practiced for two hours, 50 minutes on Monday. The Wildcats have a pair of workouts scheduled for Tuesday, the last planned day of double practices.
