NORTH PLAINS, Ore.? University of Kentucky women?s golfer Beth Felts shot a four-over par in round two of the United States Women?s Amateur Championship, Tuesday at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore.

Felts? strong showing in day two earned a tie for 82nd place with a 13-over par 155 for the tournament. She shot an opening day 80 on Monday.

Rising senior Katie Johnson was the other Wildcat in action at the Amateur. Johnson carded a 96 on day two, placing her at 152nd.

The duo will return to the links with the Wildcats this fall. Only the top 64 golfers advance to match-play of the U.S. Amateur Championship.
