LEXINGTON ? Kentucky?s opening round game of the NCAA Tournament against Ball State on Friday at 7 p.m. will be televised by the Big Blue Sports Network.

The network will air the game on the UPN channel in Lexington (Insight channel 5) as well as on FSN channels in selected markets throughout the south. Friday?s opening game between Notre Dame and College of Charleston will not be televised.

Big Blue Sports Network to televise all Kentucky games: The Big Blue Sports Network has decided to televise all Kentucky games in the Lexington Regional this weekend. Fans can tune in to Insight channel 5 (UPN) in the Lexington area and in Fox Sports South selected markets to catch the action on Friday. Saturday and Sunday?s action is planned only for UPN at this time.

Calling the game for the BBSN will be WKYT sports anchor Dick Gabriel and former Kentucky Wildcat and major leaguer Doug Flynn.

Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale: Single-game tickets for the regional go on sale Thursday at the UK Ticket Office at 9:00 am.

A very limited number of reserved tickets have been returned by participating teams and may be purchased for $10 per game. General admission tickets are also available for only $7 per game. Fans wishing to purchase tickets should call (859) 257-1818 or visit the ticket office in person in Room 4 of Memorial Coliseum.

Thursday Practices Open to the Public: Each of the four team practices on Thursday at Cliff Hagan Stadium is open to the public. Kentucky holds the final practice time of the day from 4:30-5:45 p.m.

College of Charleston practices first during the day from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. and Notre Dame is next from 1-2:15 p.m. Ball State follows the Irish from 2:30-3:45.
