Atlanta, Ga. – The Kentucky men?s swimming and diving team concluded its season Saturday at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Atlanta. Senior Daniel Farnham finished his illustrious career by gaining his fourth honorable mention All-America honor of these Championships. As a team, UK finished in 24th place with 27.5 points.

Farnham, a senior from Mount Berry, Ga., gained his second consecutive honorable mention All-America recognition in the 100 freestyle event by finishing in a tie for 15th place. Farnham finished in a tie for 15th with Yale?s Alex Righi with a time of :43.62. With the three honors captured at this season?s Championships, Farnham ends his career with a school-best 16 All-America distinctions.

?I?m really proud of all our guys who competed this weekend,? head coach Gary Conelly said. ?They have all worked extremely hard all season long. I?m really proud of our two seniors, Daniel Farnham and Steven Manley, who have kept the team together this season. They are really going to be missed in the future.?
