Some students call it spring break, but for the Kentucky volleyball team, a week off from school meant spring training in Florida. The coaches and team traveled to Boca Raton, Fla., March 12-18, for a week of training at Florida Atlantic University. The group practiced every morning and spent the afternoon doing team bonding while soaking up the local scenery.

On Friday morning, the squad put its hard work to the test by facing FAU in scrimmage action. Kentucky won four of the five games played in the contest before traveling back to Lexington. The 2006 spring schedule continues April 8, when UK travels to Cincinnati to face Duke and Ohio in the UC Bearcats? spring tourney.
