The Kentucky women?s golf team is doing its part to help victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Cats need your help. UK is one of 30 schools selected by the National Golf Coaches Association to help raise the funding to build a Habitat for Humanity house in the New Orleans area.

As part of the challenge, the Cats are striving to raise $2,000 to contribute to the overall $60,000 that it will cost to build one home.

The squad is raising its money by getting the community involved in pledging money for each birdie made by the team. Donors have the opportunity to pledge money for each time the team birdies a hole.
