The University of Kentucky gymnastics team will provide fans with a sneak peak of the 2006 season by hosting an exhibition Saturday at Memorial Coliseum at 6 p.m. Admission to the event is free.

This year?s scrimmage will showcase a ?fans-on? approach, as the gymnastics faithful will come not only to witness the team?s outstanding skill, but to learn more about collegiate gymnastics and what third-year Coach Mo Muhammad has in store for us for the upcoming season.

The event will run till around 8 p.m. Fans will be allowed to come down onto the floor afterwards to meet the gymnasts and get autographs on the brand new UK gymnastics team poster.

The No. 23 Cats kickoff the regular season Jan. 6 when they travel to Lansing, Mich. to take on Michigan State and then return the following week to host ?Excite Nite?, Jan. 14, at 6 p.m. against Illinois State and SE Missouri.
