Tailback Rafael Little and safety Muhammad Abdullah were named to the Coaches? All-Southeastern Conference Team released Tuesday by the league office.

Little, an accomplished performer at tailback and as a kick returner, was a second-team choice at running back. Abdullah also was picked for the second team.

Little, a sophomore from Anderson, S. C., led the SEC and ranked fifth nationally in both all-purpose yardage and punt returns. He averaged 180.2 all-purpose yards per game, the fifth-highest mark in league history, and broke the school record held by Derek Abney. He averaged 16.9 yards per punt return. As a running back, he rushed for 1,045 yards and nine touchdowns and also was the team?s leading pass receiver with 46 catches.

Abdullah, a senior from Folkston, Ga., earned second-team All-SEC honors for the third consecutive season. This year he notched 81 tackles, third among the league?s defensive backs. He added three tackles for loss, including two quarterback sacks, and had three pass breakups.
