Kim Coventry and Joelle Schwenk ended their run Saturday at the ITA National Collegiate Indoor Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

Coventry, the 15th-ranked player in the nation, fell against TCU?s Helena Besovic in straight sets 6-3, 6-1, in her second consolation match of the tournament.

The Melbourne, Australia, native also ended her doubles play with partner Schwenk when they lost to Northwestern?s Cristelle Grier and Alexis Prousis 8-2, in the consolation bracket.

The losses ended Coventry and Schwenk?s fall season. Coventry finished with 11 singles victories, while teaming with Schwenk to record eight doubles wins. Coventry and Schwenk will return to action Jan. 13, 2006, when they compete in the Indian Wells Invitational in Palm Springs, Calif.
