Sophomore guard Samantha Mahoney picked up her second preseason All-SEC award as she has been selected a second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection by the media, as announced at SEC Media Days in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mahoney, 5-foot-10, started 27-of-34 games played her freshman season and was second on the team, averaging 10.6 ppg. In league action, Mahoney averaged a squad-best 12.5 ppg and she also was named to the All-SEC Freshman team. She was second on the team in steals with 30 swipes last season.
