Kentucky sophomore Marcus Sundh won two titles Sunday at the Louisville Fall Invitational. Sundh captured the Singles Flight A title and teamed with freshman Shane Collins to win the Flight A Doubles Draw.

Sundh defeated Louisville?s Robert Rotaru in straight sets 7-6 (7-3), 6-1, to win the third tournament flight of his young career. Sundh won all five of his matches in this tournament in straight sets.

?Last year as a freshman Marcus won the B flight of this tournament and I think it shows the great progress he has made to comeback and win the A flight this year,? head coach Dennis Emery said. ?He played really good this weekend against a lot of school?s top players.?

The native of Sweden also teamed with Collins to pick up the Wildcats first doubles title of the fall season. Sundh and Collins began the day by beating Louisville?s Stefan Naughton and Tony Teufel in the semifinals 8-4, before defeating Brandon Gill and Parker Ross of Butler 8-6 to win the draw.

?We recruited Shane thinking he would be a really good doubles player,? Emery said. ?Winning a doubles flight this early in his college career shows his tremendous potential.?

The Wildcats will return to action on Friday, Nov. 4, at the Bulldog Scramble in Athens, Ga.
