The Kentucky men?s tennis team will be competing in two tournaments this weekend beginning Thursday at the Region Three Indoor Championships in Memphis, Tenn. The squad will split up with three members heading to the Region Three Indoor Championships while three others will compete in the Louisville Fall Classic starting Friday.
Representing the Wildcats in Memphis will be seniors Alex Hume and Nate Emge, along with freshman Bruno Agostinelli.
Hume and Emge enter the tournament with the No. 68 and No. 94 rankings respectively.
Agostinelli has had a great start to his collegiate career winning seven matches in his first two tournaments.
On Friday, the trio consisting of senior Carey Rubin, as well as freshmen Marcus Sundh and Shane Collins will take part in the Louisville Fall Classic.
Rubin, a Canton, Ohio, native recorded three victories last weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational and has six wins overall during the fall season.
Sundh is also coming off a successful Georgia Tech Invitational where he recorded two victories.
Collins will be participating in his second tournament of the fall season.
