The Kentucky women?s tennis team will begin play tomorrow at the USTA National Tennis Center Women’s College Tennis Invitational in Flushing Meadows, New York.

This weekend?s tournament will feature Wildcat senior Danielle Petrisko, along with juniors Lara Maurer, Liis Sober and Caroline Winebrenner.

Each is coming off a successful UK Fall Invitational last weekend.

Maurer, a Bay Village, Ohio, native won all four of her matches at the UK Fall Invitational on her way to winning the Flight B singles bracket.

Petrisko notched three singles victories and teamed with Maurer to capture the Flight B doubles title.

Winebrenner took home the Flight C singles title while Sober claimed the Flight C consolation bracket.

The National Tennis Center Invitational will run through Monday and fans can check ukathletics.com for daily recaps.
