LEXINGTON ? The Kentucky men?s soccer team takes to the road Sunday for its toughest test of the season when it faces 11th-ranked Ohio State at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

The Wildcats (3-2-2) are coming off a scoreless tie against Western Michigan on Friday night. Kentucky dominated the game, outshooting the Broncos 19-8, but was unable to find the back of the net.

?We have to be better than we were Friday,? Kentucky coach Ian Collins said. ?We are creating chance after chance, but can?t finish. But I expect our team to respond and come out with a lot of fire.

Meanwhile, the defending Big Ten champion Buckeyes (5-2) dropped a tough 3-2 double overtime decision to Bowling Green. In the game, Ohio State rallied from a two-goal deficit despite playing a man down. The Falcons eventually netted the winner after the Buckeyes had a second man sent off in the second overtime.

?Ohio State has a very good team,? Collins said. ?They showed a lot of fight to come back after going a man down. I think they were unlucky in their result and will be looking to come back strong from it.?

It is the second straight year the two teams have met as Kentucky scored a thrilling 2-1 victory at home last year. In the game, Michael Strong (San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights) scored a goal and assisted on the game winner, which came in the 89th minute.

It is the first meeting since 2000 for the two in Columbus, where Ohio State has won all four previous contests.
