The Kentucky swimming and diving team began their voluntary preseason conditioning this week.

In this first week of voluntary workouts, the team gathered for media day pictures and running sessions. The Wildcats running sessions take them to the steps of Commonwealth Stadium and the lawns adjacent to the Lancaster Aquatic Center.

The Cats look to build on last season’s success with the return of All-American seniors Daniel Farnham, Laura Graham, and Steven Manley, as well as SEC diving champions junior Taryn Ignacio and senior Jessica Thompson. The team will continue these workouts in preparation for their return to competition beginning on October 3, with the annual Blue/White meet.
