LEXINGTON, Ky. ? UK women?s golfer Ali Kicklighter was the third Wildcat to make the qualifying list for the U.S. Women?s Amateur. The senior competed on Wednesday, June 29, in the U.S. Amateur Qualifying Round at the Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Fla.

The Deland, Fla., native fired a 76 for the 18 holes and will join teammates Emily Culbertson and Elizabeth Dotson at the U.S. Women?s Amateur Championship at the Ansley Golf Club on the Settindown Creek Course in Roswell, Ga., August 1-7.

Culbertson qualified for her first U.S. Women?s Amateur in 2002 where she shot a 168 (84-84). She failed to qualify for the first day of match play, but gained valuable experience heading into her freshman year at UK.
