The No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats hold an 11 stroke lead with a score of 572 (286-286) after two rounds of play at the UK Derby Invitational at the University Club in Lexington, Ky. Senior John Holmes leads the UK team and is second overall after firing a second round 66 to give him a total score of 136 (70-66) heading into play on Tuesday.

Vanderbilt is in second place with a seven-over-par score of 583 (292-291), while East Tennessee State is third with a total of 588 (283-305) through two rounds of play.

ETSU?s Rhys Davies leads the individual standings after firing a first-round 63 and a second-round 70 for a total of 133.

For the Wildcats, senior Mark Blakefield is fourth with a two-round score of 143 after shooting 71 in the opening round and an even par in the second. Senior Brandon Waldrop follows right behind Blakefield and is fifth overall with a total score of 146 (70-76). Junior Matt Kohn is tied for sixth after he made par in round two to bring his total to 147 (75-72), while senior Matt Wells shot a 159 (81-78) in the opening day of the two-day tournament.

The Wildcats have four individuals playing in the lone home tournament of the season. Cale Barr is tied for eighth after firing a 148 (73-75), followed by Mark Erlewine who is 14th with a score of 154 (80-74). Jack Hudson is 16th with his 156 (79-77), while Andrew Stephens rounds out the players for Kentucky with a score of 160 (79-81) to tie for 18th overall.

The third and final round is set to begin Tuesday, May 10, at 8:10 a.m.
