Women's Golf

BATON ROUGE, La. – The University of Kentucky women?s golf team travels to Baton Rouge, La., to compete in the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic, Mar. 18-20. The Cats will take on SEC foes Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.

The remainder of the 16-team field includes Augusta State, Birmingham Southern, College of Charleston, James Madison, Kansas, intrastate rival Louisville, North Carolina, N.C. State, UNC-Wilmington and Tulane.

UK?s traveling team to Baton Rouge includes, freshmen, Beth Felts, Elizabeth Dotson, senior Katie Dixon, sophomore Katie Johnson and junior Ali Kicklighter. Kentucky?s Alanna Silvertrust will be competing as an individual.

Tournament play will take place at The University Club, which is a 6,265 yard, par 72 course, with tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. CST Friday and Saturday. UK is paired with Ole Miss and James Madison for the No. 10 tee time at 10 a.m. Friday. There will be a shotgun start to begin the final round Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
