Kentucky travels to Athens, Ga., this weekend for its first conference road game after starting league play with two victories. The Wildcats rebounded from a non-conference loss to second-ranked Kansas with a convincing 69-54 victory over Vanderbilt Wednesday in Rupp Arena.

The Wildcats closed a five-game home stand with a balanced offensive attack against the Commodores. Freshman Rajon Rondo poured in a career-best 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting, while Kelenna Azubuike added 16 points.

Chuck Hayes edged closer to the 1,000 career points mark with 14 against VU, placing him seven points from the milestone. Patrick Sparks rounded out the foursome with 11 points in 31 minutes.

The Wildcats have now won their last 18 games following a loss. They?ve also won 38 of their last 44 games away from Rupp Arena, but have lost two of the last three contests with Georgia in Athens.

Scouting the Bulldogs

The Bulldogs are the only Southeastern Conference team with a losing record and enter the weekend 6-7 overall and 0-3 in league action. Georgia has lost four in a row after a five-game win streak in December.

Sophomore guard Levi Stukes leads the Dogs in scoring, averaging 16.2 ppg, while freshman Sundiata Gaines contributes 13.1 ppg and 4.7 rpg. Channing Toney rounds out the double-figures scorers with 10.2 ppg.

Dennis Felton is 22-21 in his second season at Georgia. Including his five years at Western Kentucky, Felton?s career totals are 122-75.
