LEXINGTON ? Kentucky sophomore outfielder Billy Grace has been named to the preseason All-SEC baseball team by SEbaseball.com, it was announced Monday.

Grace, a third-team selection, batted .331 for the Wildcats as a freshman a year ago. He belted five home runs and 11 doubles and led the team with a .449 on-base percentage. Over the summer, he competed in the Great Lakes League where he was an all-star and earned first-team all-league honors.

A Granger, Ind., native, Grace is the top returnee for the Kentucky baseball program heading into the 2005 season, which begins Feb. 18 at Charleston, S.C.
