LEXINGTON ? This past fall semester, the Kentucky baseball team showed it has talent off the field as well as on it.
The team posted a team grade-point average of 2.97 with 20 of 37 players on the fall roster earning GPAs of 3.0 or better.
Nine players ? Andrew Albers, Kent Robinson, Jimmy Rose, JB Schmidt, Andrew Levenson, Jesse Barber, Kalen Gibson, Matt Robinson and Collin Cowgill ? scored 3.5 or better. Craig Snipp, Tommy Warner, Aaron Tennyson, Justin Scutchfield, Adam Revelette, Andy Myette, Billy Grace, Greg Dombrowski, Barry Cressley, Steve Deaton and Michael Bertram rounded out the group.
The grades come on the heels of the most successful academic year in school history when nine players earned SEC Academic Honor Roll honors.
