The Jefferson County chapter of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association will be host of the
Citizens Union Bank’s Lunch before the Crunch
on Saturday, Dec. 11, at Freedom Hall from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The event, held in a huge auxiliary room in the East Wing at Freedom Hall, is a pre-game pep rally and party for UK fans attending the Kentucky-Indiana basketball game at the Freedom Hall. Game time is 1:30 p.m.

?We have moved to a larger location this year because of the over-capacity crowds the last few years,” said Jim Denny, event chairman. ?Our new first floor location is just as convenient, it?s three times larger, and it has restrooms inside.”

The bash will feature food, a cash bar, the Wildcat mascot, door prizes, music, and UK’s dance team, cheerleaders and pep band.

UK president Dr. Lee Todd and athletics director Mitch Barnhart will be on hand to address the fans.

Admission is free for UK alumni members who show their membership card, and only $2 for everyone else.

Food offerings will include:

Pork chop sandwiches, barbecue, burgers from the Kentucky Pork producers

Papa John’s Pizza

Ehrler’s Ice Cream

Hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and soft drinks
