Kentucky sophomores Kim Coventry and Joelle Schwenk saved match point to claim the top doubles flight title Saturday at the SEC Fall Coaches? Classic in Peachtree City, Ga.

Coventry (Melbourne, Australia) and Schwenk (Coconut Creek, Fla.) trailed Mississippi State?s Zsuzsanna Fodor and Anastasia Kugakolova, 6-7, but rallied for victories in the last three games to win 9-7.

?Kim and Joelle played really solid doubles throughout the tournament,? UK Assistant Coach Jon Thompson said. ?They knew exactly what they wanted to do and stuck with the game plan.?

UK sophomore Lara Maurer also turned in a strong performance Saturday, defeating LSU?s Marina Chiarelli.
