Kentucky?s men?s golf team is tied for second with Kent State with a 17-over par 581 after two rounds of play at the Inverness Intercollegiate Invitational in Toledo, Ohio. Senior John Holmes is currently first after firing a first round three-over and a six-under par for the second round of play.

The Cats are four shots behind Michigan State heading into Saturday?s third round of play. Garrett Chaussard of Illinois and Peter Laws of Kent State are tied for second behind Homes with an even score.
