The University of Kentucky diving corps journeys to Georgia?s Gabrielsen Natatorium this weekend for the NCAA Zone B Diving Meet. The meet is one of several of its kind held around the country this weekend to determine the diving field for the upcoming NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.

Competing for Kentucky this weekend are junior Mario Rodriguez, sophomore Jessica Thompson and freshmen Kari Retrum, Jillian Becker and Joey Brown. Retrum found the Georgia diving platforms to her liking two weeks ago, winning the SEC Women?s Platform Diving event at the same venue where this weekend?s events are being held.

Former Wildcat Clayton Moss earned high marks at the 2003 NCAA Zone B Diving Meet on his way to a runner-up finish at the 2003 NCAA Championships in the three-meter diving event and a third-place showing in the one-meter diving event.
