SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — The Wildcats fired a 296 in the first round and sit in first place at the Hyatt/Dorado Beach Intercollegiate in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Cats have a one stroke advantage in a tightly contested tournament over host, Georgia State (297). Baylor University is also in the hunt for the title as it is two strokes off the lead with a 298 first round.

Kentucky will tee off the second round on Monday, March 8 at 7:40 a.m. at the Dorado Beach Golf Club.
