Baton Rouge, La. ? The Kentucky women?s golf team sits in a tie for 13th after one round of the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La. The Cats are led by sophomore Erin Faulkner, who shot an 81 Friday at the University Club.

Eva Gessner is one shot back from Faulkner after the first round of action with an 82. Gessner is currently is a tie for 59th. Katie Dixon fired an 83 on Friday, and Ali Kicklighter and Stacy Springer rounded out the UK lineup, as both carded an 84 and ended the day in a tie for 82nd.
