Tucson, Ariz. ? The Kentucky women?s golf team finished in sixth at the NC State Saguaro Cactus Classic in Tucson, Ariz. Junior Katie Dixon led the Cats in a tie for 10th with a two-round score of 151.

Eva Gessner and Erin Faulkner also recorded top-20 performances for UK with 13th and 18th-place finishes, respectively. Ali Kicklighter, who competed as an individual for the Cats, shot a 77 in round two to finish with a 156 for the tournament. Marissa Muir and Emily Culbertson also participated in the Classic, which was shortened to two rounds because of inclement weather yesterday in the Tucson area.

The Cats return to action on March 5-7 at the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic in Baton Rouge, La.
