Ames, Iowa ? The Kentucky track and field team registered four top-20 finishes on Friday, Feb. 13 at the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa. The Cats will complete competition tomorrow in their last regular season meet of the season before the Southeastern Conference Championships.

Freshman Andy Fryman garnered a place in the top-10 with his toss of 56-03.75 in the men?s weight throw. Kendra Patton saw her best performance of the season in the 200-meter dash with a 10th-place time of 24.77 among the 78 competitors in the event. Genessa Guzman and Ildiko Varga rounded out UK?s performances of the day with top-20 finishes of 54-07.25 and 53-00.0, respectively, in the women?s weight throw.
