The University of Kentucky men’s swimming & diving team battles Indiana on Thursday evening at UK’s Lancaster Aquatic Center. The meet is slated for a 7 p.m. EST start.
The Cats are coming off of a big victory Tuesday in the Kentucky Relay Invitational, while Thursday’s outing is the first for Indiana since a victory over Evansville on Saturday, Oct. 18. The Cats are looking for redemption from their last dual meet after suffering a tough loss last Friday evening to Tennessee.
UK head coach Gary Conelly last posted a victory over his alma mater during the 2000-01 campaign when the Cats knocked off the Hoosiers by a 150-92 count in Bloomington, Ind. Conelly was a 15-time All-American at IU and is a member of the Indiana Swimming Hall of Fame. The Hoosiers got the best of the Cats last season with a 135-102 during Senior Day in Bloomington.
