The University of Kentucky junior varsity women’s golf team will compete in the Eastern Kentucky Fall Invitational this weekend, UK head coach Stephanie Martin Barker announced Thursday. The squad, which will be participating in a tournament for the first time this year, will face intrastate schools EKU and Western Kentucky along with 13 additional teams in the two-day event.

The 36-hole tournament will begin play on Friday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Results from the event, held at the Arlington Golf Course in Richmond, Ky., will be available at www.ukathletics.com.
