Wildcats Evan Austin, Nate Emge and Tigran Martirosyan begin their respective quests for the ITA All-American event Tuesday by taking part in the ITA All-American qualifier round. Emge earned a spot in the qualies with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Alejandro Salazar of East Tennessee State. Emge will face Northwestern’s Tommy Hanus at 10 a.m. EDT Tuesday.

Martirosyan earned a spot in the qualifier round after two previously-occupied positions in the qualifier draw were vacated, opening an entry for Martirosyan by way of his unbeated streak in the pre-qualies. Martirosyan will battle Duke’s Jason Zimmerman on Tuesday morning at 10:30 EDT.

Austin earned his qualifier spot by way of his No. 98 ITA national ranking. He’ll battle Fresno State’s Hector Almada at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
