Wildcat newcomers Nate Emge and Tigran Martirosyan continue to impress this fall, adding two singles victories apiece to their credit Friday at the 2003 ITA All-American Pre-Qualies event in Chattanooga, Tenn. Emge knocked off Hugo Leenders of Marquette and Jeff Groslimond of Florida State each in two sets, while Martirosyan continued his solid form from last weekend’s Charles Fluitt Invitational with a couple of two-setters Elgintas of Marquette and Arkansas’ Matt Roberts.

Sophomore Alex Hume was eliminated in two sets by Jason Pongsrikul of San Diego.
