FT. WAYNE, Ind.– The University of Kentucky men’s soccer team, fresh off an upset of No. 7 Indiana, will conclude its preseason with an exhibition game against Michigan State in the final game of the IPFW Soccer Showcase in Ft. Wayne, Ind. The Cats defeated the Hoosiers, 2-1, Friday night in front of 4,200 fans at the IPFW Hefner Soccer Fields Complex.

Sunday’s match-up against the Spartans will be a rematch from last year’s IPFW Soccer Showcase. Kentucky fell to Michigan State, 3-1, in a game that Coach Ian Collins and his staff used to evaluate a number of reserves and personnel.

The Cats will kickoff their regular season against Louisville on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at the UK Soccer Complex at 7:30 p.m.
