SACRAMENTO, Calif. – University of Kentucky senior track and field athlete Simidele Adeagbo closed her career as a Wildcat on Saturday, June 14 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif. Adeagbo did so with a sixth place finish in the triple jump, which earned her All-America honors for the fourth time in her career.

Adeagbo placed with her leap of 43-05.00, earning the Wildcats three points in the championship event. Also competing on Saturday was senior Thomas Morgan, who took 16th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:28.55.

The meet ends the regular season for the Wildcats, though several of UK’s distance runners will compete in the USA Track and Field Championships next weekend in Palo Alto, Calif.
