The University of Kentucky track and field team continued competition at the 109th running of the Penn Relay Carnival in Philadelphia, Pa., on Friday, April 25. The men’s distance medley relay team took fourth place in the Championship of America race.

The team crossed the finish line in 9:35.53, a season best and less than two seconds off the school record.

Also competing on Friday was Simidele Adeagbo, who took fourth place in the women’s triple jump with a leap of 43-01.50.

The Wildcats continue action in Philadelphia on Saturday, April 26.
