The groupings for the first round of the Southeastern Conference Women’s Golf Championship have been set and Kentucky sophomore Stacy Springer will open the tournament at 9 a.m. ET on Friday, April 18, at the first hole of the University Club of Kentucky’s “Big Blue” course. Springer will be playing alongside Jennifer Norlien of Arkansas and Kerrie Davis of Mississippi.
Friday will begin with a “Call to the Post” by Keeneland’s longtime bugler, George Sallee, at approximately 8:45 a.m. ET. Beginning at 9 a.m., groupings of three will tee off from hole No. 1 in 10-minute intervals. The final grouping, consisting of Tennessee’s Jessica Shepley, Auburn’s Celeste Troche and South Carolina’s two-time defending medalist Kristy McPherson, is scheduled to tee off at 12:10 p.m. ET.
Groupings for round two will be decided by round one’s results.
