The Kentucky men’s golf team will be in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to participate in the Conrad Rehling Spring Invitational. The tournament, hosted by Alabama, will be played at the Capstone Club.

UK finished seventh in last year’s tournament. Other teams in the field will be Notre Dame, Southeast Louisiana, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, LSU, Michigan, Toledo, Purdue, Illinois, Auburn and Alabama-Birmingham. UK sophomore John Holmes led the Cats to their seventh-place finish last year, shooting a three-day total of 203 to finish in second place, just two strokes behind UAB’s Graeme McDowell. Last year’s team champion, Minnesota, will not be competing in this year’s tournament.

The Cats tee off the three-day event at 9:20 a.m. CT on Friday, March 14. Play will conclude on Sunday, March 16.
