The University of Kentucky men’s tennis team heads south to Naples, Fla. Wednesday for a 2 p.m. match against Florida Gulf Coast University. The road-trip marks a homecoming of sorts for UK sophomores Evan Austin and Jesse Witten.

Austin is a product of Barron Collier High in Naples while Witten attended cross-town rival Lely High. While at Lely, Witten, the ITA’s 10th-ranked player, captured two consecutive Florida State High School singles championships.

Kentucky is looking to rebound after a tough 6-1 loss Sunday, March 9 to fourth-ranked Baylor in Lexington.

After the match with FGCU, the Cats will face another tough test Friday when they take on second-ranked Florida in Gainesville, Fla.
