The 18th-ranked Kentucky women’s tennis team will play host to the No. 39 Ole Miss Lady Rebels at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center on Friday, March 7, at 4 p.m.

The Cats (11-5, 1-1 SEC) are looking to bounce back from a 6-1 defeat to the fifth-ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs on Sunday, March 2. Before the loss to UGA, Kentucky had won seven-straight matches and rose from No. 34 to No. 18 in the Omni Hotel/ITA National Rankings. Ole Miss (3-7, 0-2 SEC) comes to Lexington stinging from a close 4-3 defeat at the hands of No. 24 South Carolina and is looking to claim its first conference win.

Last year’s meeting on March 8, ended in a 4-3 UK victory. Historically, the Lady Rebels hold a slim 14-12 lead in the series.
