STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) – LaToya Thomas scored 22 points as No. 16Mississippi State beat Kentucky 96-46 Sunday.
Mississippi State (18-6, 6-4 Southeastern Conference) never trailed in thegame. Three other Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures, including Tan Whitewith 19 points, Rebecca Kates with 11 and Seneca Anderson with 10.
Danyelle Payne scored 12 points for Kentucky (9-13, 2-8 SEC).
Mississippi State dominated every part of the game, shooting 59 percent fromthe floor compared to Kentucky’s 37 percent. Mississippi State alsooutrebounded Kentucky 42-23.
Mississippi State also had 20 assists. The Lady Bulldogs led 36-17 athalftime.
