The 34th-ranked University of Kentucky women’s tennis team plays host to the 50th-ranked Indiana Hoosiers at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. ET.
The Cats (4-4) return to Lexington for a five-match home stand after spending the weekend at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships in Madison, Wis. UK went 1-2 at nationals, including a loss to eventual champion and 4th-ranked Duke. Indiana (5-2) comes in riding a three-match win streak. The Hoosiers’ latest victory was a 7-0 thumping of intrastate rival Indiana State.
The Cats’ previous home match was a 4-3 loss to IU’s Big-10 Conference mate Michigan. Kentucky leads the series with Indiana by a count of 14-12.
