The University of Kentucky men’s golf team makes its annual appearance in the Gator Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the University Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla.

The Cats are looking to add to the momentum gained when they finished the fall season with a win in the Fall Beach Classic in Gulf Shores, Ala. Included in the 15-team field will be host Florida, Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Vanderbilt, Alabama-Birmingham and Purdue.

LSU won last year’s tournament, while Florida finished tied for second with Purdue and Alabama-Birmingham. Kentucky finished 12th.

The tournament gets underway at 8 a.m. EST with a shotgun start. The teams will play two rounds on Saturday and the final round will be played Sunday.
