The Kentucky Rifle Cats return to action Saturday against Rose-Hulman at 8 a.m. at Buell Armory on the UK campus.

The competition is Kentucky’s first dual-meet since the Rifle Cats knocked off the Xavier Musketeers Saturday, January 18 in Lexington. UK placed third out of 14 teams last Saturday in the Withrow Invitational at Murray State.

Kentucky Coach Harry Mullins is expecting quality performances Saturday in preparation for the NCAA Sectionals Sunday, February 9 at Murray State.

“I’m expecting some strong scores from our upperclassmen, and I’m looking for someone to emerge from our underclassmen. We need to get an idea of who will be competing at the NCAA Sectionals, so I think we’ll see some good showings,” Mullins said.
