Kentucky won its eighth straight game and is now 14-3 overall, matching the team’s best start since the 1998-99 team also began at 14-3. The Wildcats are 4-0 in Southeastern Conference play, the team’s best start since the 1998 national champions opened league play 8-0.
Auburn is 15-3 overall, breaking a nine-game win streak. The Tigers are 4-1 in the SEC.
