Pakulak a Semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award: Kentucky’s Glenn Pakulak is a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award, which is given to the college punter of the year.

Pakulak is averaging 43.9 yards per punt this season, ranking seventh in the nation. As a team, UK also rates seventh in the nation with a net average of 38.6 yards per punt. More than half of Pakulak’s punts (24 of 43) have landed inside the 20-yard line. He has placed 10 punts inside the 10. Pakulak is the No. 1 punter in school history with a career average of 43.5 yards per punt. Getting the ball off quickly, he has never had a punt blocked during his career. A strong, physical player, Pakulak covers punts aggressively and has four tackles in his career. He has never had a punt returned for a touchdown.

Pakulak is one of 10 semifinalists for the Guy Award. The honor is coordinated by the Greater Augusta Sports Council of Augusta, Ga. The award is in its third year of existence.

Family Four-Pack Available for LSU and Vanderbilt Games: UK Athletics is offering a special “Family Four-Pack” of tickets for the LSU game on Nov. 9 and the Vanderbilt game on Nov. 16.

Mississippi State Game to be on Live Pay-Per-View and Delayed on the UKTV Network: With no live network telecast of the Kentucky at Mississippi State game on Nov. 2, Host Communications will have a live pay-per-view and delayed telecast of the game.

Host Communications is offering the pay-per-view to every cable system in Kentucky. Fans should contact their local cable company for the price and other details.

Fans also can see the game on a delayed basis on the UKTV Network that night at 11:35 p.m. EST.

MSU Game Also Available on Dish Network, ESPN GamePlan: In addition to the live pay-per-view and UKTV Network delay telecast of UK at Mississippi State, the game will be available on Dish Network and ESPN GamePlan.

Subscribers to the Dish Network can order on channel 456. The game is not available on DirectTV. The game is available on ESPN GamePlan outside Kentucky. The game will not be available on ESPN GamePlan inside Kentucky.
