Lexington, Ky. – The University of Kentucky swimming and diving teams will host the inaugural Kentucky Relay Meet on Sat., Oct. 19, at 2 p.m. Western Kentucky University, Cumberland College, Centre College and Transylvania University will compete against the Wildcats. This will be the season opener for the Cats, who participated in their annual blue-white exhibition on Oct. 10.

The meet will showcase several relay teams that the Wildcats are expecting great things from this year. The men’s and women’s freestyle relays are both projected to have successful seasons. The event will be held at the Lancaster Aquatic Center on the UK campus and admission is free.
