Tickets Continuing to Move For South Carolina: Sales at the UK ticket office have been steady and less than 1,000 public tickets remain for the South Carolina at Kentucky game on Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $22 each and fans may purchase:

via the Internet at ukathletics.com; tickets may be ordered over the Internet at any time and are “fee free”

at the Memorial Coliseum ticket office, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

over the phone with a credit card by calling 1-800-928-CATS or (859) 257-1818

Tickets also are going quickly for the Homecoming game vs. Georgia on Oct. 26. Less than 500 public tickets are available for that game.

Practice Schedule This Week: The Wildcats will practice Monday at 9 p.m. in Commonwealth Stadium before resuming the normal practice schedule Tuesday afternoon.

No Live TV for Arkansas Game: The Kentucky at Arkansas game on Oct. 19 was not selected for live television. Therefore, game time remains 2 p.m. EDT (1 p.m. CDT in Fayetteville).

Hopewell’s Touchdown a First: Remember Andrew Hopewell’s 15-yard touchdown run against Texas-El Paso? Research indicates that it was the first touchdown by a freshman walk-on at Kentucky since freshmen became eligible to play in 1972.

Kudos to Alan Cutler of WLEX TV, who posed the question while working on a story about Wildcat brothers Andrew and Daniel Hopewell.
